Catalis Advisory: Leading Accounting Transformation Solutions

 As a CPA, I spent the last decade of my career focused on accounting transformation. Most recently, as a Sr. Principal Consultant at BlackLine, I worked with more than 100 clients—including 10 of the Forbes 50—to optimize processes and build scalable solutions. I was trusted to guide complex transformations and help teams modernize how they worked. On paper, life was good.

But as I worked with more companies, I started to notice a clear gap. Mid-market teams were struggling the most to implement successful transformation programs, often operating without the budget, resources, or internal expertise to do it well. I saw capable leaders trying to figure it out on their own—and falling short despite their best efforts. It became clear that the traditional approach wasn’t built for them.

That’s when I realized I could bridge that gap. By combining my experience as a transformation leader and BlackLine consultant, I saw an opportunity to create a more practical and accessible path forward. I founded Catalis Advisory and developed the Accounting Accelerator program to help teams not only automate their processes but also think and operate like transformation leaders. My approach focuses on building capability, not just implementing change.

Today, my clients don’t just complete a transformation, they learn how to sustain and scale it. They leave with clear roadmaps, stronger teams, and the confidence to lead ongoing improvements on their own. Instead of feeling stuck or dependent on outside support, they’re building systems that continue to deliver results long after our work together ends. And that’s what makes the work truly stick.
